Terms & Conditions

These terms apply whenever you create an account, spend credits or request a plan on XM Services. By using the platform you agree to them.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. Your account

You must register with a real, working email address that can receive mail. Disposable and temporary email domains are blocked, because invoices, activation confirmations and password resets are all delivered by email.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password secure. One person or organisation per account; do not share credentials.

Every new account receives 20 free credits as a trial. Creating multiple accounts to collect the free credit bonus repeatedly is not allowed and may result in suspension.

2. Credits

Credits are the platform's unit of usage. An image costs 2 credits, or 5 credits for a long, highly detailed prompt. Video costs 1 credit per second with a 5-second minimum — a 5-second clip is 5 credits and a 10-second clip is 10 credits.

When a generation starts, the credits are reserved rather than spent. They are charged only after the output is successfully generated and stored. If the generation fails, the reservation is released back to your balance automatically.

Credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred between accounts and are not exchangeable for currency. Pricing may change with notice; credits already in your wallet keep working.

3. Plan activation and invoicing

Card checkout is not yet live, so paid plans are activated by invoice. You choose a plan, submit an activation request with accurate billing details, and nothing is charged at that moment.

We verify your details and email a formal invoice for the exact amount shown on the plan you selected, normally within one business day. Submitting a request is not activation and does not create an obligation on our side to provide service before payment.

Once the invoice is paid, we upgrade your plan and credit your wallet with the full credit bundle for that plan, then confirm by email. Invoices are issued exactly as you enter your details, so incorrect information means a re-issued invoice and a slower activation.

4. Ownership of your content and outputs

You keep ownership of the prompts you write and the reference files you upload. You grant us only the licence needed to process them, generate your output and store it for you.

Generations you create are yours to use, including commercially. You are responsible for ensuring your prompts and uploads do not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, likeness or other rights.

AI outputs are not unique to you: similar prompts may produce similar results for other users, and we cannot guarantee exclusivity or copyrightability of any specific output.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use XM Services to create illegal content, sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, targeted harassment, malicious deception, or realistic impersonations of real people used to deceive.

You may not attempt to bypass credit accounting, rate limits, authentication or storage isolation, or resell raw model access. See the acceptable use policy for the full list.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, and we may withhold refunds on credits consumed by abusive activity.

6. Service availability

XM Services routes work across multiple AI model providers. If one provider is down or rate-limiting, requests retry on the next healthy provider automatically, at no extra credit cost to you.

We do not promise uninterrupted service or a specific rendering speed. Providers occasionally change or retire models; when this happens we route to the closest available alternative.

7. Liability

The platform is provided on an “as is” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, or loss of data beyond what the law requires.

Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Changes and termination

You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. Because activation is invoice-based, you simply do not request the next term to stop future invoices.

We may update these terms as the product evolves; the “last updated” date above always reflects the current version. Continuing to use the platform after a change means you accept the updated terms.
