Acceptable Use Policy

XM Services gives you real generative model access. These rules keep the platform safe for creators, brands and the people who appear in the media we help produce.

Last updated: 20 August 2026

1. Prohibited content

Do not generate sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, or content that sexualises real identifiable people without their consent.

Do not generate content that incites violence or self-harm, promotes terrorism or hate against protected groups, or provides instructions for weapons, malware or other serious harm.

Do not generate content designed to defraud — fake identity documents, forged financial or medical documents, or misleading claims presented as fact.

2. Real people, brands and likeness

You may not create realistic depictions of real people saying or doing things they did not, in a way intended to deceive. Satire and clearly labelled creative work are different from deceptive deepfakes.

Do not upload reference photos of people who have not agreed to be used, and do not use another company's trademarks, packaging or characters in ways that imply an endorsement you do not have.

3. Advertising and disclosure

UGC-style ad creative generated here is synthetic. Where the law or a platform's advertising policy requires you to disclose AI-generated or synthetic media, that disclosure is your responsibility.

Do not present AI-generated testimonials as real customer reviews.

4. Platform integrity

Do not attempt to bypass credit accounting, reservations, authentication, rate limits or storage isolation, and do not probe other accounts' data.

Do not create multiple accounts to farm the free signup credits, and do not resell raw model access or operate XM Services as a pass-through API for third parties.

Do not run automated bulk scraping of the platform or overload the generation queue in ways that degrade service for other users.

5. Provider rules also apply

Requests are fulfilled by third-party model providers, whose own usage policies apply on top of ours. A provider may refuse a request even when we would allow it; refused requests do not consume credits.

6. Enforcement

We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate an account, and report unlawful activity where required. Serious breaches can result in immediate termination without refund of credits consumed by the abusive activity.

If you believe an enforcement action was made in error, contact us and we will review it.

7. Reporting abuse

If you see content produced with XM Services that breaks these rules, or you appear in a generated asset without consenting, report it through the contact page with as much detail as you can provide. We prioritise reports involving real people and minors.
